How I Grew My Pinterest Account to 1.1Million Monthly Views in 3 Months

Thungex

If you Want to grow your Pinterest account? You’re in the right place. When I decided to try out Pinterest I couldn't even get 1000 views a month. But then I learned a few simple tricks, and now my account has over 1 million views every month. I assure you that if you follow this methods you will see some changes on your views and I mean Good changes.

Let’s get started!

1. Post a Lot of Pins

This is the simplest way to increase your monthly views. Pinterest rewards active users. If you’re only posting one or two pins a day, you’re not going to see much growth. You need to aim for at least 25+ pins a day.

Don’t believe me? Let’s do some quick math:

If you post 30 pins a day, and each pin gets a minimum of 20 views per day, that’s 600 views daily. Multiply that by 30 days, and you’re looking at 18,000 views in your first month alone! And that’s assuming each pin only gets 20 views, which is the bare minimum. Some pins might get 100 views or even more.

Now imagine posting 50 pins a day. The numbers add up quickly, right? Consistency is the key here. The more you pin, the more likely you are to reach a wider audience.

Still not convinced? I want you to go and look at all the Pinterest profiles with 1 million+ monthly views. Check their saved section and look at their boards. You’ll notice some boards have over 10,000 pins, and their total number of pins can reach UpTo 100,000. That’s the secret: post more to get more.

2. Create High-Quality Pins

Quantity is important, but so is quality. Don’t just pin random images or the ones you like. You’re not putting those pins for yourself; you’re creating them for your audience.

Think about what your audience wants. For example:

  • Use bold, clear text on your images.
  • Choose attractive colors like red, pink, or gold (most users love these!).
  • Make sure your images are bright, sharp, and professional-looking.

Low-quality pins won’t get clicked, no matter how many you post. If you’re not a designer, use tools like Canva. They have pre made templates that make it easy to create good pins which can get clicks even if you’re a You can also use Ai for example look at this image it was generated by Ai it's hard to notice right?

3. Understand Your Audience

Who are you creating pins for? If you’re not sure, it’s time to figure it out. Pinterest is not like Instagram or Facebook; it’s a place where people search for something that Interests them it's like a search engine. People come here to look for something or find solutions.

For example, if you’re in the fitness niche, your audience is probably looking for workout tips, healthy recipes, or weight loss hacks. If you’re in the travel niche, they’re searching for destination guides, travel tips, or budget advice.

How do you know what they want?

  • Look at what’s growing popular on Pinterest in your niche.
  • Use Pinterest search suggestions to find popular keywords.
  • Check out what big accounts in your niche are pinning and see what’s performing well.

4. Use the Right Keywords

Pinterest is all about SEO (search engine optimization). If you’re not using the right keywords in your pin titles, descriptions, or board names, you’re making a huge mistake.

Here’s an example:

Let’s say you’re creating a pin about “Easy Dinner Recipes.” Instead of just writing “Dinner Ideas,” use a title like:

“10 Easy Dinner Recipes for Busy Weeknights.”

For the description, add keywords like:

“Quick and easy dinner recipes perfect for families, busy moms, and anyone looking for delicious meals in under 30 minutes.”

When people search for these terms, your pin is more likely to show up.

5. Join Group Boards

Group boards are an amazing way to get your pins in front of more people. When you join a group board, your pins can be seen by the board’s followers, not just your own.

But here’s the catch:

Not all group boards are worth joining. Look for active boards with a lot of contributors and engagement. If a board hasn’t had any new pins in months, skip it.

Once you’re part of a group board, make sure you’re contributing regularly. Don’t just pin your content; repin other contributors’ pins as well. This will keep you active and visible in the board’s community.

6. Be Consistent

I can’t stress this enough: consistency is everything. When I first started, I would pin randomly—one day 10 pins, the next day none. It wasn’t until I got serious about posting every single day that I started seeing real growth.

Here’s what I recommend:

  • Schedule your pins in advance using a tool like Tailwind.
  • Create a daily routine where you pin at least 25-50 pins a day.
  • Set aside time to analyze your account and see what’s working and what’s not.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stay consistent, it will happen.

7. Be Patient

Pinterest is not a platform where you’ll see instant results. Pinterest growth takes time and patience.

When I first started, it took me almost a year to figure out what I was doing wrong. But once I learned the secrets and got serious, my account exploded. In just three months, I went from struggling to having over 1 million monthly views.

Growing your Pinterest account doesn’t have to be complicated. Post a lot of pins, create high-quality content, understand your audience, use the right keywords, join group boards, and, most importantly, stay consistent.

If you follow these steps, your monthly views will grow. Don’t give up too soon. Success takes time, but the results are worth it.

Now go out there, start pinning, and watch your account grow!
